I.O.'s American-made AK, the AKM247 is equipped with bolt hold open, recoil buffer, nitrided barrel, extended magazine release, and a scope rail mount precision machined on the left side of the receiver. It accepts all standard AK and RPK magazines.
AKM247C (Classic) models feature laminated wood handguard.
This UF model features an underfolding stock that stows away under the lower handguard, and includes a 30-round magazine.
