How Does It Work?
All semi-automatic firearms have 8 steps and the FRT-15 follows those steps with slightly different mechanics. As the shooter squeezes the trigger, a round fires and the hammer forces a reset on the tigger, pushing the shooters finger forward. As the trigger is reset, the locking bar prevents it from functioning before the process is complete. The buffer spring pushes the bolt forward, stripping a new round from the magazine. The new round is forced into the chamber and the locking bar disengage, allowing the cycle to be repeated.
Installation:
- Full-Auto Bolt Carrier Required
- Heavy Buffer (H2, H3 or T3 Buffer) Recommended
- We strongly recommend a qualified gunsmith install this trigger.
- In the majority of setups, the FRT-15 is plug-n-play with a heavy buffer. Tuning may be required.
